Once upon a time in 2014, nearly almost 10 years ago Karam first laid eyes on Vanessa. It all began when Karam met her brother Bolita and her Uncle whom he sold vape products to and after a couple of business transactions they became good close friends. Bolita started to invite Karam over to their family gatherings which Karam really enjoyed and fell in love with her family, their energy and how welcoming each and everyone was. That is where Karam was first introduced to Vanessa. There was just something about Vanessa that sparked a feeling inside of Karam that he could not explain. At first, he didnt think much about it but as he continued to repeatedly go over and join her families functions/outings that spark grew bigger and bigger that he cannot shake off. It was not until two years later in 2016 when Karam started to develop a strong crush for Vanessa and he couldnt contain it in nor keep his mouth shut from letting everyone around him know how much he liked her. Once Karam told Bolita about how he truly felt for his sister, he told Karam he had no chance with her and good luck because she is hard to get .. (Bolita was not lying)... Karam did not let that face him and he was going to give it a try. Karam felt shy for many years to tell her about his feelings towards her and many of his friends that knew, gave him the advise to just go for it but he had a feeling that he was going to get rejected. sure enough one year later on new years he built the courage to ask her out and got rejected like a credit card getting declined. lol. But Karam truly felt like she was the one for him, so god gave him the strength to keep trying and not give up. after she respectfully declined, he still continued to be a good friend to the family and come around to their family gatherings., he could not stop thinking of her. he did everything in his power to get her attention, so one thing he did to get her attention was do challenges with her because she enjoys to do them . Thats how they began to know each other and soon became good friends. Vanessa didnt think anything of it. But everyone else around them knew how much he liked her and wanted to be with her. Karam tried to get out the friend zone for about 5 years until he finally built up the courage to ask her out and make it official to be his girlfriend in 2020. Vanessa sure did make Karam work for it and she was not easy to say yes. Fast forward to two years later, Karam proposed to Vanessa on October 2022 at the RISE Festival. She thought they were just going on a trip to light up lanterns to have a romantic getaway weekend under the stars and watch the fireworks at the Rise festival but little did she know she was going to get engaged. Needless to say, Karam got on one knee and popped the big question that he had been waiting to ask for sooooo long “Will You Marry Me?” And of course Vanessa said YES! If it were up to Karam he would have married her the day he meet her. lol Patience is Key! Karam sure did have a lot of patience! We are so excited for you to join us as we say I DO and cant wait to celebrate with you on our wedding day, August 2023 as we join together to celebrate our love and unite our MEXICAN and EGYPTIAN cultures! Dont forget to bring your dancing shoes, and have a fun time! :)
