Q + A

When do I need to RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than Saturday, February 14, 2026. If you do not RSVP before this date, we will assume that means you're unable to attend.

Is transportation going to be provided?

Transportation will be provided for transport between Courtyard by Marriott Scottsdale Old Town and Desert View Weddings & Events for your convenience. A shuttle will depart from the hotel to the venue at 2:45pm prior to the ceremony. At the end of the evening, a return shuttle will depart from the venue back to the hotel at 11:00pm. We encourage guests to take advantage of the shuttle so everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration!

Is parking available at the venue?

There is parking available at our venue. However, we encourage everyone to use the provided transportation or utilize Uber/Lyft, so everyone has a safe ride home at the end of the night.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, with an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour in between!

What should I expect the weather to be like?

While March is usually beautiful in Arizona, we’re going to be experiencing a record-breaking heat wave during our wedding weekend...not sure if that's good luck? Temperatures are expected to be much warmer than normal, with highs over 100, so we recommend planning for a warm afternoon. Light, breathable clothing, sunscreen, and staying hydrated will help keep you comfortable. The ceremony and celebration will still be amazing—we’ll just all get a little extra Arizona sunshine!

What type of food will be served?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Your entree selection will be collected from your RSVP. If your dietary restriction is not accommodated from the options available, please make a note of it on your RSVP and the caterer will accomodate!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We’ll have an open bar at the cocktail hour and reception, offering a variety of alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine. Don’t worry—there will also be plenty of refreshing non-alcoholic options for those who prefer them. Drink responsibly and enjoy the celebration!

Is smoking allowed?

Our venue's smoking policy is as follows: Marijuana, vaping, or other any other substance use is prohibited anywhere on Desert View’s property (inside or outside). Smoking of tobacco is only allowed on the patio where proper receptacles are provided. Marijuana, in any form, is strictly prohibited in any and all areas on the Desert View property.
