Karen and Nathan’s story began in 2019, when a simple connection turned into something neither of them expected — and everything they were hoping for.

Their first date took place in Long Beach at the Pike, starting with Spider-Man: No Way Home, followed by sushi and a walk around the light house. A week later, they met again in Manhattan Beach for ice cream, which somehow turned into sitting on the sand for hours, just talking and getting to know each other. That evening, Nathan asked Karen to be his girlfriend. Karen said… not yet. She wanted to take her time and make sure it was real — and Nathan respected that completely.

Spoiler alert: it was real.

After more dates, quality time, and meeting each other’s friends and families, Nathan took Karen to Disneyland. They spent the entire day riding rides, eating snacks (lots of snacks), and making memories. Even though Nathan had a pass and could come back anytime, Karen insisted on staying all day — because if you buy a ticket, you maximize it. Naturally, they stayed for the fireworks. Under the lights and magic, Nathan asked Karen once more to be his girlfriend… and this time, she said yes.

Six years later, they’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and mutual understanding. They bond over great food, traveling, and their shared obsession with cats. Together, they’re proud parents to three fur babies: Gatito, Precious, and Salami (yes, that name has a story — ask us).

Now, Karen and Nathan are beyond excited to take the next step and start their life as a married couple. They can’t wait to bring two lives together as one, continue making memories, and build a future filled with love, adventure, and all the good things still to come.
