While there will be some vernacular during the Rite of Marriage, Mass will be in Latin, the official language of the Catholic Church. In Catholic weddings in the Novus Ordo Mass, the Rite of Marriage happens in the middle of the Mass. In the Latin Mass, the Rite of Marriage happens at the beginning, and is followed by the Mass, uninterrupted. In any Mass it is tradition for women to wear a veil, but it is not required. . . . ¿Qué tiene de diferente una boda misa latina? En las bodas católicas en la Misa Novus Ordo, el Rito del Matrimonio ocurre en la mitad de la Misa. Driving yourself or taking an Uber will be best. You can park within Jesuit High school for the ceremony. Be prepared to pay for street parking at the reception. The chapel will be open by 3pm if you would like to get there early to pray.
