Smart casual; the atmosphere of the Fordwich Arms is relaxed and there is no formal dress code. If weather permits there will be drinks on the terrace before dinner, so make sure you will be warm enough.

There is limited parking at the Fordwich Arms and in the village of Fordwich, but shuttle buses are available - please take a look at the Travel & Accommodation section of the website for more information.

Smart casual; we will be embracing the countryside look, but we want you to be comfortable. The vows will take place in the barn which is not heated, so please make sure you are warm.

Unfortunately, Updown has only a few rooms, so guests will be staying at various surrounding hotels.

We have stayed at the Pig in Bridge, which is a lovely hotel. We haven't tried any other venues but we would suggest the Dog in Wingham. Alternatively, we understand that there are rooms at the Duke William in the pretty village of Ickham. All details of these hotels can be found on the Travel & Accommodation section of the website.

There is a small car park, but please be prepared that it can be a bit muddy underfoot if it has been particularly wet. Transport will be available - please visit the Travel & Accommodation section of the website.

The last shuttle will be departing at midnight for any guests not staying at Updown.

In accordance with the terms of the venue's license, the bar will close at 11pm.

After twenty years together, we have asked for no gifts and are already appreciative of the efforts you are making to join us for our celebrations.
