Both. The event itself is Saturday, and it's best to plan on arriving between 3:30-4:15 to get all situated. We have exclusive use of the camp, so you're welcome to enjoy the weekend with us too. You'll reserve accommodations with Camp Lakotah, and sign up for any additional group meals when you RSVP.

It's been a long run of it, folks. We are optimistic that we may have an event that feels a little like what we used to think of as 'normal-ish'. We'll be outside for the ceremony, and enjoying what we hope will be pleasant weather. We assume that we'll all approach this event with great respect and care for one another, and that would include not attending if you have any symptoms of any infectious illness, if you have tested positive for Covid or been in contact with anyone that has. Masks will be available, and if we see numbers climbing, we'll implement the most covid-careful plan that makes sense.

We welcome all of our community to join us. If your invite didn't include a plus one, it was because we aren't good at the formalities with wedding etiquette. All are welcome. If there is anything we can do to make this more comfortable, let us know. There will be a small pack of Welsh Springer Spaniels running around.

That you would vote to protect the rights of folks like us to marry, and to wish the same freedoms and protections for all people as you wish for your own kin.

The Barby House as you may have come to know it, beckons as a place for comfort and connection, for celebration and contemplation. We are currently planning on addressing some landscaping challenges so that we can have spaces we love to be in that can be made a little more of all these things. If you feel called to gift us, we'll invite you to sponsor a plant for our garden rehabilitation (it was a neglected field of weeds) so that it's something you can enjoy with us when you visit.
