Karen's oldest daughter and right-hand woman. She is a freshman at TCC.

Karen's second born daughter, full of joy and laughter. She is a sophomore at Kempsville High.

Karen wasn't blessed with a sister of her own, but her sister in law is her best buddy and has been for their creating memories and supporting Karen & Josh since the beginning.

Karen's best friend & un biological sister since 2003, Mary and Karen have done so much life together and we are so blessed to have her love!

Karen & Rachel met in 2016 at church in Illinois and no matter where Karen & the kids moved to Rachel has been an amazingly supportive friend through the years and miles. So excited to have her here with us!

Josh and Jeremy have been friends for about 25 years and have been through a lot together. Jeremy has been a constant confidant and inspirational figure in Josh’s life and a 5AM coffee buddy before work kind of friend

Josh has known An”Drew” since 6th grade. They have remained best of friends over the years and have one of those friendships that picks up exactly where it leaves off.

Josh and Blake became great friends in their early high school days. They both share a love for music and grew up jamming together on drums and guitar. Through the years Blake has been a great friend to talk with and to laugh with about the trials and tribulations of life

Carlton Theodore Goodwin III is one of the founding members of the Acredale Soldiers. One of Josh’s oldest friends, along with Jeremy, Josh and “CT” have always shared common interests in music and lifestyle. Josh and CT are weekend coffee buddies

Josh and Erik grew up competing in Pony baseball and became fast friends in 8th grade after sharing classes at Kempsville Middle School. Erik has always been someone Josh has looked up to and been inspired by. Erik is living in Italy and has been for almost a decade now, but is traveling back here to Virginia Beach to be in our wedding ceremony

Josh and Tim met in 8th grade and have been friends ever since. Sharing a love of baseball, basketball, skateboarding, golfing, and the list goes on, it’s easy to see why Tim and Josh are best friends to this day. Josh and Tim were always thought to be brothers

Karen’s youngest and most attached child, she’s over the moon to have Josh as her bonus dad and absolutely loves having him as her own personal jungle gym.

Josh’s sweet niece who is the same age as Sonora! We were so excited to have insta cousins who are so close in age!

Karen’s son, her wild child, is so glad to have another guy in the family finally! He’s in 6th grade at Kempsville Middle and he enjoys throwing the baseball in the backyard with Josh after school.

Josh’s nephew, full of laughter, formed a quick friendship with Keith and the two of them are often having adventures and exploring the outdoors together.
