Our Story
The Beginning
How a simple "Come sit next to" became the beginning of an "I Do." The forever story of Dj and Karen
Before the Year
Wheww, if you know me and DJ then you know we lovvveee nothing more than traveling, eating, and giving all the love we have possible to the world. We did it all and then some within a couple of months. Needless to say DJ was the one thing I was missing and well same for him about me ( i hope lolol) . They say you dont know but when I met DJ I knew. I knew that was an adventure I never wanted to miss out on. Vegas, Hawaii, Flordia, LA, Texas, even the cross country road trips. but the best came when not even a year together and we got to have the best pieces of us come to life in our beautiful bundle, Atlas Kalia.
Once Atlas came it was a whirlwind from there on out. Here we are 3 years later and we're still getting our groove. I could really go on and on about us and our story. It really is just one of those "when you know you know" how cliche, right? But it really is without a doubt the one single phrase to describe what we have. What we created. I'd say the best advice we were given so early on was simple, so so simple "NEVER give up on each other. Don't give up on the old you, the current you, and the you, you will become. DONT give up on each other when you're tired, anxious, depressed, confused, hell even when you just out right can't stand each other DONT GIVE UP." It sounds so hard when you start thinking of random scenarios but so far in 5 years life has shown us more than one reason to not give up.
