Dennis visited Karena for the first time in Atlanta.

For our second big trip, we explored Seattle. Here we are at the Hole-in-the-Wall, Rialto Beach, Olympic National Park.

We adopted Dean! Our friends Nadia and Eric were fostering him from LifeLine Animal Project, and we decided that he would be a perfect fit. He's been a (chaotic) joy ever since!

About a month after we adopted Dean, Dennis suggested that we should take a hike at Cloudland Canyon State Park before it got too hot. While we were at an overlook, Dennis suggested taking a nice photo with his camera. As we were posing for a photo, Karena asked when the shutter would go off and Dennis turned instead to propose! He was taking a video the whole time, and Karena said yes.
