It was March 12th, 2023, we were both working the Colton Dixon concert in Attleboro MA, where our mutual friend as we lovingly call her Mother Teresa introduced us. SHE QUITE LITERALLY SPOKE INTO EXISTENCE, YOU'RE TALL, AND YOU'RE TALL. YOU TWO SHOULD GET MARRIED. Who knew that 818 days later it would become a reality.

Little did I know at the time that you (Robert) were actually interested in me (Kari) and continue to pursue me over the next few months.

At Soulfest that same year, you (Robert) continued to make sure that I (Kari) was well fed and staying hydrated despite my constant effort to tell you that I (Kari) was too busy for a serious relationship at the time. It wasn't until the last night when you (Robert) asked me (Kari) to be your girlfriend. I knew when I said YES that the Lord would walk us through this relationship despite our crazy schedules and the distance between us.

August 6th, 2023 will be known as the day that we started dating. Robert's loving heart, charming personality and persistence on making sure that I knew he was always there for me led me to make the best decision of my life.

Over the course of our dating, we have shared so many memories and experiencing "First" times together. We love to travel. Combine with our passion for photography has made for an exciting start to our relationship!

On September 14th 2024, we took a trip down to visit family in St. Petersburg, Florida. Down by the St. Petersburg Pier, he surprised me with a couple's photo shoot that I had been asking for. Out by the water with a beautiful view of the city, he got down on one knee while I was turned around, and asked me to marry him. At that time I knew in my heart that the answer was YES!
