Where to begin… Well Ben was born in Orange & Kari was born in Fontana. Just kidding. We won't bore you with the early details.

Our story actually began by meeting at work which we won't talk about too much because we both ended up getting fired.

Stay with us since we promise it gets better. We ended up becoming official on November 3, 2013 (Wow, it's already been 4 years!). Ben already knew she was the one…

Over the next 9 months, we did the normal stuff like meet the parents, go through the holidays, and we both got new jobs. By then, we were both ready to move out of our parent's places so we got an apartment in Irvine on August 23, 2014. We moved all of our belongings while our parents were out of town and finally had our first place together! During the apartment years, we started a business together, learned more about each other, spent a stupid amount of money on food, and planned the future. We definitely weren't budgeting back then, but we lived and learned how important a dollar was, which helped us take the next step in our lives together!

Before our lease was up, we decided to start looking at houses to buy and ended up purchasing a new-build in Temecula, which we had to wait 3 months for because it wasn't completed yet. During those 3 months, we travelled back and forth between each of our parents' houses and finally moved into our new house on November 19, 2015!!! Holy cow that was an exciting day!

Time flew by and we did the normal stuff like go grocery shopping, cook, clean, work, and watch television.

We closed our business in early 2017, which really bummed us out, but little did we know that one of the biggest days in our lives would be right around the corner.

On May 6, 2017 (Ben's 26th birthday), we invited our friends over to our house for some wine tasting. After a few wineries, we headed back to our house where we started getting food out for us all to eat lunch. We all went outside to take a group picture and when that was complete, the friends all cleared out. Ben got down on his knee and proposed!

That's the cliff notes version of our story and we can't wait to write more pages in all of the years to come!
