"I still can't believe I met my future husband on an app, especially since I didn't even write a profile and my cousin did it for me. I just had a few photos up there and a week on tinder. I received a lot of matches, but it only took a week to communicate with my perfect man. I was 34 at the time and was tired of drama and guys playing games. I was just ready to meet my man and God put him out there. He sent me a message and asked me if i was going to "CATFISH HIM" ( I didn't understand that saying), but he was half referring to the picture of me holding a fish and the show catfish. The same day we matched we talked on the phone October 29/15 and we met October 30/15 .
October 30 we met at Top Golf. Friday the 30th was a rainy day "Our conversation felt so natural and we both felt like we knew each other for a long time . He gave me a flower that he made in his 3D printer machine and I though he was super cute and a gentleman . The next day he asked me if I wanted to go to a Halloween party at his friends house and I met all of his friends. And we've been together ever since.
We pretty much like the same things, we do some things the same way like crushing empty water bottles. We have the same color likes, like white dishes. The same colors in the bathroom, like towels and rugs. We even both like to do outdoor activities, hiking, running, or our favorite outdoor activity. Mountain biking, we try to go out to different trails in the area at least once a week.
Then in October of 2016,
It was one of those normal days of riding the bicycle, but he asked if I can brings extra clothes so we can go have a dinner after riding the bikes. Then we went to a very nice steak house. I thought he was going to propose to me there but he didn't. We went back to my place to drop off the bicycles. I was a little disappointed that he didn't ask me, but thought oh well maybe another day. He still wanted to go do something so we went to Top Golf. At this point I was a little wore out from the bike ride and disappointed he didn't propose at the restaurant, that it didn't occur to me that he might propose to me at Top Golf. Wouldn't you know it, he proposed at the same place of our first date one year later and we're planning on our wedding for Jun 11/2017. I still get excited when I see his picture on my phone when he calls. We laugh all the time and have so much fun together. We really are the perfect match." —Karin and Andrew
