Karina and Anthony first met the old-fashioned way — working side by side as cashiers at ShopRite in Rochelle Park. What began as easy conversations during long shifts slowly grew into a genuine friendship. In time, those feelings turned into something more, and when Anthony took a chance and asked Karina out, the rest fell beautifully into place.

From best friends to partners, they balance one another in all the right ways. They find joy in laughter, silliness, and the kind of unfiltered moments that make life feel light. Being fully themselves with each other is the foundation of their relationship, and above all, they are each other’s safest place and greatest friend.

One of the most meaningful chapters of their journey has been growing in faith together. Being saved and born again through Jesus became a pivotal turning point in both their lives and their relationship — deepening their bond and shaping the future they are building side by side.

Along the way, their family has grown too. United by a shared love for animals, Karina and Anthony have welcomed two cats, Biscuit and Blossom, and their dog, Lola, into their lives — filling their home with warmth, comfort, and joy. They cherish life’s quieter moments most — cozy nights at home, time with their pets, slow, peaceful escapes to Pennsylvania, moments spent surrounded by nature, and living with faith at the center of it all.

With God at the heart of their relationship, Karina and Anthony are overjoyed to begin this next chapter and look forward to building a marriage rooted in faith, love, purpose, and a whole lot of laughter.
