What's the difference between Xàbia & Jàvea?
Xàbia is just Jàvea in valenciano. The offical spanish name is Jàvea and that is what is used internationally too. However, the valencia region has its own language called valenciano, which most locals speak alongside spanish.
Do I need to learn Spanish?
A few main Spanish words will get you by in Jávea. Over 48% of its population are foreigners and the majority of those are from the UK, so many businesses are catered towards english speakers.
What is the weather like?
The temperatures in Jávea (Wedding Weekend) & Orba (Wedding Day) in May are comfortable with low of 62°F and and high up to 75°F. The weather is dry with little rain.
What is Wedding Day the dress code?

Where should I book accomodations?
Please refer to the "stay" section on the website. We would love to be able to spend the maximum amount of time with you all. For this reason, we would prefer you stay in the downtown / beach area of Jávea with us! We are staying at Parador de Jávea.
What is the wedding day bar situation?
We will have an open bar with wine, beer, and liquor options.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner that will be of local Spanish cuisine and will be served family-style. For this reason, it is important you indicate your dietary restrictions on the RSVP.
Are children welcome?
We love your children and understand that it is difficult to travel this far without them. Although we will not be able to accommodate children at the wedding venue, they are more than welcome to join for any pre/post wedding celebrations.
Our venue has recommended "Jávea Babysitters", they have a Facebook Page where you can find reviews or contact them directly via WhatsApp (+34 711 00 65 91).
What will the transportation to the venue be like?
We will be providing shuttles to and from the venue (~35min ride). Shuttles will pickup and drop off at Parador de Jávea Hotel. We will also be staggering the shuttles back so that everyone can choose an earlier or later time of departure from the venue.
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes, there is parking at the venue if you decide to drive.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless addressed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
What time do the wedding day celebrations end?
Be prepared to dance the night away! Spanish weddings usually go into the morning hours. If you'd like to leave early however, we will have one bus departing earlier and you are also welcome to hail a cab via Cabify.
What is the welcome party dress code?
