It all started at a club in Wynwood called Centro—the kind of place with loud music, good energy, and a glowing sign that says “Find Love at Centro.” Karina and her friends used to joke that actually finding love there would be the most Miami thing ever.One night during Christmas break, Karina was at Centro with her friend, and about 100 feet away, Josue was there with his friend too. She spotted a cute guy across the room—and then they made eye contact. In that moment, Karina just knew she had to go talk to him.A few minutes later, she walked over and introduced herself. The cute guy? Josue. Karina, 24 at the time, asked how old he was. When he said 21, she hesitated. Then he tried to dance with her… but his moves weren’t exactly her style. She laughed and asked, “Why are you dancing like that?” Josue took a chance and asked for her Instagram. That was the end of it—at least for the moment—since Karina was living in LA.Two months later, Karina was back in Miami when she got a DM from Josue asking if she wanted to hang out. And where did they end up? Yep—Centro. After a few days of reconnecting (Josue was now at least 22), Josue made it official! And just like the sign said, they really did find love at Centro.

We’d love to see our family and friends dressed up with us, so the dress code for our wedding is formal attire.We kindly request that ladies wear floor-length dresses in spring colors or pastels, though we ask that you please avoid wearing blue as that color is reserved for the bridal party.Gentlemen are asked to wear a suit or tuxedo; to maintain the elegance of the evening, please refrain from wearing jeans, hats, or casual attire. We also request that all guests refrain from wearing white, ivory, or cream.

Recommendation: For those coming from out of town it will be best to stay May 14th and 15th at the Best Western which is 10 minutes away from the venue and then transition to a more "touristy" area on the 16th to stay the weekend.
