The ceremony is at the Overlook, an outdoor setting with a beautiful view of the Old Mill Dam waterfall. The Overloook is next to the administrative offices at the end of R Dean Coleman Road.
Where should I park?
Use the main entrance and follow R Dean Coleman Road to the second to last parking lot (just before you reach the administrative offices.) The parking lot is limited, and overflow parking is available at the lot next to the playground.
Is the wedding outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be held indoors.
Are there restrooms at the park?
Yes! Once you enter the park on R Dean Coleman Road, there are two restroom locations. One is to the left near the historical farm and another is on the left near the fishing pond.
What should I wear?
This is a semi-formal event. You may find many helpful guidelines in the following article: https://www.brides.com/semi-formal-wedding-attire-4800687. Average daily temperatures in our area for the first week of October is between 70 - 75 degrees F.
Do I have to wait until dinner is served to eat?
Drinks and light refreshments will be served at the reception directly after the ceremony. Dinner will be served when the wedding party arrives after a very short photo session at the ceremony site.
Where should I go if it is raining?
We're praying for sunny skies! In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Friendship Church sanctuary and reception will follow in the fellowship hall. We will text you by noon Saturday if we have a venue change. Please include your cell phone number with your RSVP so we can keep you informed.
