If you are planning on spending the night, there are a few different options when it comes to lodging! We recommend staying in Stillwater, Perry, or Guthrie. Stillwater is the largest city out of the three and will have more restaurants and entertainment options available. Here are a few specific hotels that we recommend:

*The Guthrie location may be a good choice for guests driving in town from Dallas because it is slightly south on I-35 on the way back to Dallas. Stillwater has a variety of fun restaurant options. Swing by Eskimo Joe's to try their famous cheese fries or Hideaway if you're craving pizza! Both of these restaurants are right on the edge of OSU's campus, giving you the perfect opportunity to tour the university's grounds after your meal. For breakfast, try Hatch or Good Little Eater. While you're in that neighborhood, grab some coffee from Balanced, where Karis worked as a barista! Other local food options include Devoted (12/10 dumplings but their hours vary), Boomerang Diner, Empire pizza, or Nikki's Greek Restaurant.

Stillwater has three lovely lakes: Lake McMurtry, Lake Carl Blackwell, and Boomer Lake. We've spent many hours in early morning walks around Boomer or watching the sunset on Lake Blackwell. During one of those times, Weston proposed on the bank of Lake Blackwell! You can also stop by Stillwater's Antique and Collectible Mall and Typo (a cute little stationary store), which are on the same street. On Friday or Saturday, swing by Tumbleweed, the local two-stepping hall to show off your country dancing skills! If you have time, take a walk around OSU's campus, grab some tea from HTeaO, visit the Botanical Gardens, and get a sweet treat from Blue Spruce.

If you're in town on Sunday morning, go to Countryside Church! This place has played a huge role in our love story and we're big fans of the staff, services, and community there!
