The attire is garden party, which is basically just fun outdoor party vibes! Sundresses, slacks with polo/button-down, with or without a blazer. It is an outdoor reception on grass, gravel, and concrete, so keep that in mind when picking footwear. Please avoid white, ivory, or cream colors.

We ask that guests show up a bit early, as we will be starting promptly at 2 p.m. Plan on arriving no later than 1:50 p.m.

The reception will start at 5:30 p.m. Plan on arriving around that time. The bar will be open and there will be light snacks.

Guests will park in the grass on the property. There will be signs and people directing traffic. There will be a short walk to the event. There will be closer parking for guests needing extra assistance.

We will be having BBQ. Guests with food allergies, please indicate this when RSVPing.

No. The ceremony will take place at St. Lawrence Church in Easton, KS and the reception will take place at the Schmalz residence in Winchester, KS. These two locations are about 10 minutes apart.
