****Entry Declaration (New for 2026):****
Vietnam now requires a digital Entry Declaration for travelers arriving at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN). This is currently not required at other airports in Vietnam (i.e. Ha Noi & Da Nang).
Guests flying into SGN must complete the form within 72 hours before arrival at the official government portal:
https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn
After submitting, you’ll receive a QR code to show at immigration.
****E-Visa Required for Entry to Vietnam****
Travelers entering Vietnam are required to obtain an official Vietnamese e‑Visa before arrival. Applications must be submitted directly through the Vietnam National Electronic Visa System, the only government‑run portal for e‑Visas:
https://evisa.gov.vn/
The process is simple: complete the online form, upload a passport photo and passport scan, pay the application fee, and receive your approved e‑Visa by email. Standard processing typically takes 3–5 business days
