Meeting in the way most couples do in the modern age, yanno, Tinder. We have both been through our trials and tribulations in relationship. Pain, heartbreak. Anything that can make someone question love itself, we've seen. Naturally, we were both very suspicious in the beginning of our time together. but very quickly we grew a mutual trust for each other. We will never claim our relationship started out perfect. We had many bouts in which we didn't think we were right for each other and went our separate ways two different times. But at the end of the day, we realized 1 Corinthians 13:8 "Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away" and we have made it. Though some may think our engagement at the Atlantic Ocean was rushed, w knew what we wanted. And that was each other. As 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says, oes not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
