Our story begins with 2 guys singing a round dance on the internet. One specifically in a blue plaid caught my eye. I ran to my roommate/day 1 and said, "omg who is this?" We stalked him and figured out what family he belonged to, where he worked... JK. I didn't stalk that deep. But I did find out he was a brother to a couple of people, my brother and I went to elementary school with! I never knew Sage existed until this video.
A couple of months later, in December 2015. I messaged. That could officially be called day 1 of Karlee and Sage. The time came to actually meet in person. January 5, 2016. Sage said, "Want to pick me up at the bingo hall in Rat?" and the rest is history.
We shacked up 4 months after that. 2018, we had our first baby, Galaxy, and graduated our first year of post secondary. We finally got our own place in March or April 2019. Then, our second baby, Oaklyn, arrived that same year.
2020, we graduated with our teachers' diploma and started our careers. Then, at the end of the year, he got on one knee in front of both of our families.
Of course, in the midst of all those years, there were hard times and heavy hearts. We went through it all together. Supporting one another, supporting our families.
We thought we were done having kids but all of a sudden our boy, Kove arrived 2023.
Since then, we have been living life as our unit of 5 + 2 guinea pigs, 1 rabbit, 1 hen, and 1 weiner dog. Now often referred to as- McDonald Farms.
