Q + A

Where is the ceremony?

Redwood Park in Arcata.

Where is the reception?

Redwood Lodge and Picnic area.

What do we wear/bring?

ress Code: Semi-formal - Dressy Casual Prepare for an outdoor ceremony in April's cool weather and possible sprinkles. Bring an umbrella, a cozy jacket, and consider comfortable shoes instead of heels. Remember to wear your brightest smile—it's the best accessory!

Are kids allowed?

Heck Yes!! There is a huge playground right next to the reception for the kiddos to play on. Might be a bit wet in April, but if you got a change of clothes. Whoop Whoop!!! All we ask is you do your best to make sure they aren’t too distracting during the ceremony itself! Much LOVE

Can I bring a plus one?

Hey party people! Unless your invite has a golden "plus one" stamp, please keep your guest list to yourself. We’re all about that cozy, fun-loving atmosphere, and our budget is strictly for the fabulous folks who made the guest list! Let's keep the vibe festive and the numbers manageable! We've only allocated food, snacks, and drinks funds for those invited

Any accommodations?

The ceremony is In the woods & in April it can be quite chilly and even a bit wet. We are hoping for good weather, but no promises….its Humboldt. Bring an umbrella, a jacket, I would avoid heels or bring a change of shoes, and definitely bring a smile.

Will there be an open bar?

Nope. We aren’t providing the booze this time around and keeping it simple and wallet-friendly! We know receptions are all about the celebration, so we invite you to BYOB or whatever your favorite drink is and toast to the fun with us! Cheers to good vibes! —We will have tea, coffee, and water

RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Please RSVP online & do so by March 15th, 2025

Is there parking available near your wedding venue/reception?

Yes, it can be limited since the area is also a bit open to the public. If you are staying with friends/family, id recommend carpooling. Better luck with a space!
