Name: KarleeAnne Schnell
I grew up in Oconomowoc Wi, in the same house we are having the open house at! My parent's names are Fred and Jan and I have two brothers, Erich (who is married to my personal attendant Shelby) and my twin brother Conrad.
I love the outdoors and nature, since we grew up with lake access I enjoy swimming, kayaking / canoeing / paddleboarding, the most. However, I am also always down for hiking, and camping, and before meeting Zach I used to go camping by myself a lot. However, now that we are living full time in the camper, I have recently gotten more into vegetable gardening, cooking and canning to prefect my skills there.
I am also a pastry chef by trade and am huge on baking and baked goods. One of my favorite things to bake are mini tarts. because you can do so many things with them to create something new.
I knew I loved Zach early on into our relationship; after we first met camping in Indiana Dunes National Park. But once he introduced me to Sam, he was stuck with me.
One of my favorite memories of us so far is going to Acadia National Park and hiking the Beehive Summit Trail. This trail was one of the most challenging ones I have ever done, and it was so fun to be able to experience it with Zach, and my siblings.
Name: Zachary Micheal Roberts
I grew up in the Cincinatti, Ohio area. My parent's names are Randy Roberts and Chandi Ray, and I have three siblings, my sister Kyla, my brother Levi and my youngest sister Braylen (Sage).
When asked to type up a bio for himself Zach says:
"I am a boring person just ask KarleeAnne; she'll tell you the same." So, I guess I'm doing it.
Zach is also a fan of the outdoors, and enjoys hiking, fishing and camping. His favorite landscape is the mountains. Hence why we are getting married in the Colorado Mountains. Zach can also be found playing video games and DND with his friends online.
One of his goals is to travel the United States with the camper and see them all, which is something we have in common and hope to do in the near future.
Zach's favorite memory of us so far is when we went to Looking Glass Falls in North Carolina and looked for crystals below the falls. He says that when he saw how excited I got over pretty rocks he knew I was the one.
Our Story begins in February 2022 when we met on an online dating site. We are both adventurous at heart and connected instantly over furture adventure plans and travels. By March 6th 2022 we were officially dating.
Then after almost 3 months of talking online and over text and phone calls we finally met for the first time in person in May of 2022. Making our first adventure together in Porter, Indiana, where we spent a weekend at Indiana Dunes National Park hiking and camping out.
Because Oconomowoc and West Chester are about 7.5 hours apart, our next adventure together wasn't until Mid-July of 2022. When we went camping in the backwoods of Patriot, Indiana for Zach's Birthday Weekend. On this trip KarleeAnne met Sam for the first time and it was love at first sight.
August of 2022 was a big month for us. We went on our first vacation (Charleston, SC with KarleeAnne's Family), Which is also the first time Zach met KarleeAnne's immediate family. Stopped in Tennessee, and Kentucky to visit friends and go hiking in Red River Gorge.
Zach then went on a trip out west with TJ (Our Best Man) and they made an unplanned stop to Wisconsin to pick up car keys he may have left in KarleeAnne's car the week before. Then Mid-August Zach made a huge change and decided to pack up the camper and move Michigan City, Indiana. Making us only 3.5 hours apart!
Trips to Michigan City and Oconomowoc got more frequent after September of 2022. As we introduced each other to our friends and family. KarleeAnne met Zach's Mom, and the rest of the family Zach was staying with during her first visit to Michigan City.
Our relationship grew stronger with each visit and trip and we began talking about future plans. Our dreams to travel the country, what that would look like and how we could make them a reality. That is until May 5th, 2023, when Zach surprised KarleeAnne while on a lunch date and proposed.
Clearly, she said Yes.
Plans for moving started not long after that. In full adventurer spirit it was decided to start life as full time RVer's and to live in Zach's 26ft camper. By the end of June 2023 KarleeAnne had fully moved into the camper, and almost exactly one year after our camping trip in Patriot. we moved to our first campsite in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
