Nick and Karli met in May 2015 when Karli went out for drinks with her college roommate. Karli and her roomate decided to stop at a bar called Club Brady, because their landlord at the time owned the bar. The Kentucky Derby was happening that day so the bar had a few extra employees to handle a larger than usual Saturday afternoon crowd. Taking a seat near the entrance of the bar, they started chatting with the Doorman (Nick). When Karli left, she decided to write her name and number on a napkin (which is so out of her character) and the rest is history! It turns out, Nick's uncle owns the bar and he was a long time employee of both the bar, and the lawn boy for all the properties. We are forever grateful for that bar, which also was the place Nick's mom and dad met, and where his brother and now sister-in-law had their first date!

Nick and Karli have been together ever since, and are now living in Bayview in Milwaukee. In May, they got a black lab puppy named Reagan. On August 6th, Nick came home from work wanting to take her on a walk down by the lake. We were on a secluded trail, Karli was walking in front of them, Nick asked her to turn around to check if Reagan had something in her mouth, and when she turned around and he was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring!

We are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you!
