Nathan and Karly met in 2019 through her oldest brother, Kevin! Kevin and Nate met while working together and quickly became best friends. The two would frequently hang out at the Angeline family’s home, and before long it felt like Nathan was part of the family.

While Nate and Karly met in 2019, they did not start dating until 2023. Nate asked Karly out at the wedding of Kevin and Katie Angeline, where family and friends had spent the whole night pushing them together. From there, the two began spending time together and became exclusive in late March.

Nathan proposed to Karly on October 17th, 2024. The family was in Phoenix, AZ for Karly’s college graduation. After the graduation ceremony, the group went to a traveling aquarium exhibit they had reserved tickets for. Nate popped the question while the couple was on the upper deck overlooking a sting ray exhibit.

The couple will be moving in together after marriage and creating a lively household, combining their two cats (Cardan and Jude), one dog (Violet), and five reptiles (Charlie, Lucy, Arlo, Yui, and Suki). Nathan is currently employed in transloading while Karly is a self-employed baker alongside working on her Master’s degree to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. The couple is so excited to be entering this new chapter in their lives together while continuing to grow in their love for each other and for the Lord.
