For those who do not know both Nicholas and I went to Fairhope High School together. We always knew of each other but never hung out. Since I was a grade ahead, I never thought to talk to the younger boys!

Fast forward to June 2020. I had just moved to Birmingham from Georgia and my new roommate was attending law school with Nick. My first week living there we were hosting an engagement shower for a law school friend. Nick drove all the way from his Fairhope internship to Birmingham that weekend because he heard I was going to be there. I was also secretly excited to see him. So much so I was facetiming my best friend to ask her about my outfit.

Once he arrived at our house, he did not say hey to me at first and seemed as if he was too cool to say anything. So, I proceeded to walk over, say hey and give him a hug. We started chatting about everything and anything we could think of and the rest is history!
