Some serious invisible string brought together Justin Ian Jodaitis and Karly Amelia George. Justin was raised in East Brookfield, MA and Karly was raised in Simi Valley, CA. In 2017 Karly and Justin both moved to Chico, CA. They ended up taking 2 history classes together, but kept their conversations strictly related to the classroom discussion (Native American and East Asian History). Fast forward to August 2019, Karly needed a break from the hot Thursday night market and stepped into the Banshee, a local pub that had recently hired Justin. They sparked a conversation which led to them excitedly discovering they would have a class together for their last semester, which started soon. A few weeks later, Karly was studying outside of the Naked Lounge Cafe in downtown Chico, and looked up to find Justin on the sidewalk studying her. Karly and him sparked a conversation for so long that Justin’s friend left him! Karly and Justin have been inseparable ever since.

Since 2019, Karly and Justin graduated college together, both completed credential programs on their own timelines, started their careers and have begun a beautiful life together. They happily reside in Grass Valley, CA. June 21, 2025 will be a celebration of their love, history, and their future.
