It all started on a cold Packers game day. Karly was at Lambeau Field, while Tyson was watching the game at a local establishment. By chance, Karly’s mom and best friend, Elly, were at the same establishement. Elly picked Tyson to be her partner in a competition. They made quite the team—and caught the attention of someone else that day, Karly's mom.

After the competition, Karly’s mom struck up a conversation with Tyson and told him she thought her daughter would really like him. Tyson decided to take the chance and later texted Karly.

Since the first date, the two have been inseparable—Bingo Saturdays, distillery nights, traveling across the country for medical school, game nights, going on far too many ice cream dates, spending time with family, and the most special of all, becoming parents to their sweet baby boy, Kase.
