Believe it or not, we met on Bumble in 2019. For those of you who know, on Bumble, the women have to message first. I messaged him with a pickup line - “are you salt? Because you are sodium fine”. My pickup line obviously did the trick, and we exchanged Snapchats. We began talking on Snapchat in December of 2019, and he was about to go on a cruise with his family for Christmas. Because he was about to get on a cruise, I didn’t think I would ever hear from him again due to the fact that he wouldn’t have service on the cruise. However, every single time he had service, he would message me and we would talk for a few minutes before his service went away. In January of 2020, we met in person for the first time. We met in Hillsboro, which is halfway between Belton, where he lived at the time, and Ennis. During our first time meeting, he swears that I was a mute (can you believe that? ME a MUTE?). Our first official date was at the Waco Zoo and it was magical. He was loving and affectionate, and he claims that was when I actually started to talk (wrong). We had our first kiss in the parking lot of the zoo, and I knew that when I started to miss him on my drive home, that he was the one. A week or two later I drove to Belton and stayed with him for the weekend, then I began going every other week and staying for a week at a time. I knew very early on that this was the man I wanted to marry. And the rest is history. ❤️
