Erin is Karsyn’s little sister, and she is also Karsyn’s best friend. A lot of people say getting the fathers approval to marry a girl is a big deal, but Erin’s approval of this marriage was just as important. Coming from a family of all brothers, Jack has embraced having a little sister to hang out with! Jack and Erin love to "gang up" on Karsyn, convincing her to get ice cream more often than she should. Karsyn and Erin are truly friends by choice even though they are sisters. They have a hard time even going a few days without seeing each other! Karsyn is honored to be able to say that her little sister is her maid of honor and is grateful for all the years of support from Erin, and she can’t wait to return the job someday and watch her get married!

Lexi has been by Jack and Karsyn’s sides through various parts of life. She watched both Jack and Karsyn grow up through high school and college. Lexi started as Jack's friend, but over time Karsyn stole her and they have been close for many years. If you know Jack and Karsyn, you know they are huge nerds, and Lexi was there for all of the nerdy activities that Karsyn and Jack have been a part of. Jack and Lexi were drum majors together in high school. Karsyn and Lexi were teammates in Science Olympiad, and worked closely together in the school musicals. Lexi and Karsyn have shared many long phone calls diving into all of their feelings and have been there for each other through a lot of the ups and downs of life.

Elena is Karsyn’s college roommate, and she is the only person Karsyn has lived with other than her parents! The two started their friendship living at the Beech St. house and then made the big move to East Lansing. Between a few nights out and a lot of nights staying in, having a glass of wine and chatting, Elena has been through thick and thin with Karsyn while they navigated through college! She has always been a comfort and a safe space for Karsyn. Karsyn is so grateful to have Elena stand by her side on wedding day!

Rachel can start a party in any room that she walks into. She is Karsyn’s most spontaneous friend and she always has some sort of adventure brewing. Karsyn and Rachel met in high school and have been friends since. During the pandemic, Rachel was always coming up with fun things to do. Rachel even planned a trip to Tennessee randomly one day and they packed up and went! Be on the lookout for Rachel on the dance floor, she is sure to make you smile!

Linden and Jack were buddies throughout their time at school together. With very difficult daily schedules Linden was always there to listen and complain with Jack. While Karsyn and Jack were doing long distance, Linden was supportive to the couple. Linden is one of the funniest guys you will ever meet and we can’t wait for him to be a part of our day!

Taylor is Jack’s oldest brother. Suffice it to say that he dealt with the strict childhood so that Jack could have a wonderful youngest child experience growing up. All that to say Jack always looked up to Taylor and the example he set forth for his younger brothers. Jack always seeks his eldest brother’s approval and he is so thankful to have Taylor supporting him on his big day. Taylor was so supportive of Karsyn from Day 1 and he truly opened her up to the family on our annual Mexico trips.

Ryan has always been the lovable one of the Horton boys. His big heart was always a moral compass for Jack, and was quicker than a blink of an eye to welcome Karsyn into the family. He’s always open for fun plans and Jack and Karsyn will attest that any true party must have Ryan involved. We are so excited to celebrate the start of the rest of our lives with someone as overjoyous and supportive of our love as Ryan is.

Jack Kensington is Erin’s boyfriend. He showed up around the same time that Jack Horton showed up in Karsyn’s family. With two boyfriends named Jack, no one was sure how to tell them apart in conversation…. So there is pepper Jack and cheddar Jack. Karsyn, Erin, and the Jacks enjoy spending time together at home, playing games and watching marvel movies. When they aren’t at home hanging out, the four of them can likely be found at dairy queen or mooville.

Jack and Karsyn are extremely grateful for two sets of parents that have poured their hearts into raising them. They have been there for Jack and Karsyn as they have figured out their paths in life and have always been there for advice and support. Jack and Karsyn are very lucky to have been blessed with hard working, caring parents to lean on through life. They both are gaining an amazing set of bonus parents.
