We met on a dating app in March 2020. Our first date was the week before Covid hit, and we only got to go on two dates before everything was shut down. Because of that, we had to get creative in order to see each other. FaceTime calls, watching Friends on an iPad down by Clear Creek, walks through Golden, you name it. We knew it was meant to be when we were able to stay together through all of that. It was pretty evident at that point that we had something special. Fast forward two and half years to October 2022 when we bought our first place together! Lazy Saturdays, Broncos Sundays, and all the delicious dinners Kassi loves to cook, we’ve made an amazing home together. July 4th weekend of 2025 on our annual trip to Grand Lake, CO, a mountain town Kassi and her family has frequented since she was little so it holds a special place in her heart, Daniel (finally, as some might say) decided it was time pop the question. With the mountains and the lake as the backdrop, Daniel got down on one knee and the rest, as they say, is history. We are beyond excited to spend the rest of our lives together as husband and wife, and September 12th, 2026 can’t come soon enough!
