Here is an explanation of black tie optional from The Knot: "Black-tie optional is an intentionally vague parameter that allows for a lot of flexibility when it comes to your ensemble. With this dress code, you can probably bet that the wedding party will be in floor-length gowns and tuxedos, along with most immediate family members. Expect to see a mix of formality from the other guests—some will take the opportunity to dress up, while others will be happy to wear a more comfortable shirt and tie or midi dress." Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white.

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding to an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this as a date night!

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus 1 they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 PM. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures possible, which we will share with you! Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. The cocktail hour and reception are indoors. Guests will have access to a balcony and fire-pits from the reception venue if desired.

Yes! Drinks are on us during the wedding! The afterparty will be held onsite with drinks available for purchase. Please book a room through Woodstone Lodge or arrange for a safe ride home!

The parking lot is at the very top of hill from the long driveway, behind the clubhouse. You will pass an overflow parking lot on the right about halfway up the driveway. Keep going all the way to the top of the hill for optimal parking. Walking down the steps from the parking lot, the wedding ceremony will be to the left, there will be signs to follow. The reception will be held in the clubhouse's Grand Ballroom, entrance through the red awning. Handicap accommodations will be available throughout the day.
