Our Wedding

Kasey and Garrett met in November 2021, shortly after she moved to Pittsburgh. On their first date, they bonded over family, faith, friends, pets, and food. Garrett walked Kasey home, and she invited him to her rooftop. He played basketball—perhaps to impress her—but blamed his missed shots on the wind, making Kasey fall for him even more. That night, she told her best friend, Alexis, “this is the one.” A few weeks later, they met each other’s parents and instantly felt like family. By July 2022, Kasey moved into Garrett’s house with her cat, Doppler, and thankfully, Doppler and Garrett’s dog, Thor, got along—though Doppler won’t admit it. On June 28, 2023, Garrett proposed at Narcisi Winery with their parents present. With tears in her eyes, Kasey said Yes! They celebrated with Champagne and shared the news with loved ones. Now, they’re excitedly planning their wedding and can’t wait to celebrate this May with family and friends!

We are absolutely blessed and honored to have some of our dearest friends and family stand by our side on our wedding day!

Alexis is Kasey's longtime best friend. They met in early high school, immediately clicked and have been best friends since. Alexis has always been a safe space for Kasey and considered another member of the Reigner family. She is a badass police officer in South Elgin, IL and we are proud and thankful for her service. Alexis is loyal, trustworthy and hard working.

Ken is Garrett's older brother, though being 8.5 years apart never stopped them from being close. As Garrett got older the relationship only strengthened, culminating with Garrett joining his older brother on the Pittsburgh fire department. As they worked together Ken became one of Garrett's best friends and cemented himself as the best man he's ever known. Ken is loyal, protective and caring.

Sarah is Kasey's sister-in-law, married to her older brother, Tucker, and one of Kasey's best friends. Sarah came into the Reigner family well over a decade ago and is Tucker's high school sweetheart. They got married in September of 2021 and became parents, to their son Asher, in September of 2024. Sarah is kind, understanding, and supportive.

Tucker is one of Kasey's older brothers. They share a love for food, whether it's dining out or making a nice home cooked meal. They both went to Penn State and overlapped during Kasey's freshman year, while he was a senior. He has always looked out for his little sister. His wife, Sarah, is Kasey's matron of honor and one of her best friends. Tucker is smart, funny and reliable.

Tucker Reigner

Sam is another one of Kasey's childhood friends, and also one of the first people she met when moving to the Chicago suburbs. Sam grew up two doors down from her and they were childhood best friends. The Berggrens included the Reigners at all of their family parties since they had no family in Illinois - neighbors became family. They would invite Kasey over for dinner, to the roller rink and all things between. Sam is finishing up her doctorate degree in Arizona. Sam is kind, smart, and caring.

Kip is Kasey's oldest brother. They share a special bond with Kip being the oldest Reigner sibling and Kasey as the baby. He has always protected his little sister and made sure that she is doing well. Kip is as authentic and genuine as they come. It's what Kasey admires most about him. They share a love for their animals, metal music and FaceTime several times a week to check in on Thor and Doppler. Kip is kind-hearted, loving and caring.

Shayla is one of Kasey's childhood friends and neighbors, living three doors down from Kasey. She is the first neighbor and friend that Kasey met when she moved to the suburbs of Chicago in '03. Kasey, her brothers, Kip and Tucker, Shayla and her brother, Colin, grew up playing cops and robbers, hide and seek in the woods and fun games around the neighborhood bonfires. Shayla got married to her high school sweetheart, Evan, in May of 2024. Shayla is funny, creative, and kind.

Mike is one of Garrett's cousins. Mike and Garrett developed a friendship, beyond their being related, in large part due to their fathers' strong friendship. Mike and Garrett have spent many nights around a campfire drinking IC lights and will likely spend many more together. They share a love for Pittsburgh sports and you can often find them hanging out at Steeler games. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and we are thankful for his service. Mike is funny, outgoing, and loyal.

Marissa was Kasey's college roommate their freshmen year at Penn State. Coincidentally, Marissa is from Pittsburgh! Kasey and Marissa have visited each other many times since PSU and were thrilled to find out Kasey would have a built-in friend when she moved to Pittsburgh. They love living 10 minutes away from each other and like to get together for lunch, dinner, and reality TV nights. Marissa is outgoing, funny, and loyal.

Brandon is another one of Garrett's cousins. Together they have gone nuts living and dying for every Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates or Penguins game they've ever attended. Though not always close growing up, the last half decade has seen the relationship go from being related to a true and powerful friendship. Brandon is loving, loyal and supportive.

Katelyn is Megan's older sister and another one of Kasey's best friends. They met in January of 2022 at the annual Pittsburgh Firefighter Ski Trip and was also the host of the 2022 Super Bowl party where Kasey met Megan. Katelyn is the wife of one of Garrett's best friends, Kale, a fellow firemen and has considered herself like an older sister to Garrett. Katelyn is honest, loyal and supportive.

Katelyn Arsenault

Kale is one of Garrett's best friends. After a brief rocky start while they were together in the Fire academy, they became fast friends. Going out to bars, camping, back to Kale's hometown in Maine, or wherever there was fun or work to be done. Kale has always been someone Garrett can count on and always will be. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and we are thankful for his service. Kale is reliable, kind and trustworthy.

Megan and Kasey met in February of 2022 at a Super Bowl party through Garrett's friend group. They were gracious enough to invite Kasey, despite Garrett having to work a 24 hour shift and, surprisingly, she was one of the last to leave. Megan has become one of Kasey's closest confidants and they enjoy their girl’s nights together. Megan is down to earth, compassionate, and caring.

James is Garrett's first best friend, since first meeting in kindergarten. Through dozens, if not hundreds, of sleep overs playing video games all night, playing grade school and high school sports together, going out to bars as young adults, and even now catching up over a phone call - the friendship remains the same. James is thoughtful, reliable, and kind.

This is where Garrett asked Kasey's dad for her hand in marriage. Page's is a Pittsburgh staple and has some of the best ice cream and flavor combinations you can think of. Be prepared to wait in line - I promise it’s worth it! Tell them Kasey and Garrett sent you!

Right in Oakland, approx. a 1/2 mile from the Carnegie Museum of Art, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a Pittsburgh gem — a thriving oasis with many unique environments to explore.

Wedding guests will get free access to the Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History on wedding day, as the reception is hosted in the Music Hall Foyer. So, feel free to stroll around the museum before cocktail hour begins! The other museums to visit would be the Carnegie Science Center and the Andy Warhol Museum.

Right in Oakland and across the street from the Wyndham, the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum is a National Register of Historic Places landmark. It is the largest memorial in the United States that is dedicated solely to honoring all branches of military veterans and service personnel. A great stop for this Memorial Day Weekend wedding! Fun fact: Silence of the Lambs was filmed here!

The Strip, as it's called, is foodie heaven and as authentic as it is fun. While you're here, visit Peace, Love, and Little Donuts for custom, made to order mini donuts that are out-of-this-world! Bordering Downtown, this neighborhood is pure Pittsburgh.

The National Aviary, located in Pittsburgh's Northside, is the only independent indoor nonprofit aviary in the United States. It is also the country's largest aviary, and the only one accorded honorary "National" status by the United States Congress. Try the Penguin encounter while visiting!

If you're looking for a good pie, look no further. Fiori's is Kasey and Garrett's favorite pizza place in the Burgh. It's in the Brookline neighborhood of Pittsburgh, where Garrett is from. They are pick up only, but worth it. Our go to is steak and pepperoni and plain cheese. Don't forget to ask for a cup of cold cheese! Top your pizza with a sprinkling of the cold mozz and you'll blend right in with the locals, a.k.a yinzers.
