Just when we were both about to give up on online dating, we happened to match on Tinder. Yes, your favorite queers met on Tinder of all places. When you start from the bottom like that, you can really only go up - and how we have soared!
Through a mutual love of nature, cats, fine meats and cheeses, and Mamma Mia! (1 and 2), we have built a relationship that feels like home to us. We are so excited to celebrate our love with our closest friends and family!
As many of you know, Allison's dad was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in the summer of 2023. Given his prognosis, we went ahead with a small legal ceremony that September with just our dads and a few close friends present, just to be safe. We are so thankful we did because we lost Allison's dad in October, just 3 weeks before our original wedding date. We decided to postpone the big wedding by a year to give ourselves room to grieve and plan his memorial.
Which brings us to now. We are so looking forward to restating our vows and having the more fleshed out ceremony we dreamed of, and don't even get us started on the reception! We are ecstatic to get the chance to party with family and friends after such a rough year, so bring your dancing shoes!
