Kass and Bryan met in December of 2020, as most kids do these days they met on Tinder when they were both in their "Hoe" phases. Fortunately for both of them that didn't last very long. One evening, Bryan decided that they should meet and hang out together with a group of his friends and Kass agreed. Unfortunately, those friends bailed so Kass decided maybe it was best to wait to meet up since it she wouldn't get off of work until 11 pm and meeting with a random guy that late at night probably wouldn't be the best idea. But alas Bryan persevered, he found a way around every one of Kass' excuses. Even with her "I need to do homework" excuse, he understood she had to write her paper, and told her "That's fine I will wait for you to finish your paper, I am a college student too". So after work, Kass went to meet Bryan in the dark Muldoon Target parking lot. And after 15 minutes of Kass finishing her paper, Bryan asked "My car or yours?". Can anyone guess what Kass' response was? Yes, she said " My car obviously I am not letting you kidnap me" Bryan laughed and agreed and joined Kass in her car. Right after he got into her car, Kass was nervous so she looked at him and said "I have a taser if you try anything I will tase you", Bryan agreed not to try anything. So they sat in her car for an hour just talking, Bryan feels it is needed to be mentioned that Kass did not look at him the entire time they were in her car. After the night ended and they both went home, they both thought the other was okay and pretty cute. So they decided to meet again and again. And eventually, they realized just three months after knowing each other that they were in love.

Since meeting Kass and Bryan have accomplished and experienced a lot together. For the first year of their relationship, they were long-distance while Bryan was working on his degree in Fairbanks and Kass was working on hers in Anchorage. But Bryan drove down frequently to come to see Kass, and she even drove up to see him a couple of times. Soon though Bryan decided that he no longer wanted to be where Kass wasn't so he changed from the University of Fairbanks to Liberty University an online college so that he could move back down to Anchorage and live with Kass. So Bryan moved into Kass' apartment with her and her dog Kenai, and they succeeded in working and going to school for another six months until they decided that they needed a bigger apartment. In that time Kass bought herself a new car and got a new job and Bryan got a new job as well. Then they moved into a bigger apartment and Bryan got another new job. They are now working towards finishing their Bachelor's degrees in 2024 and looking forward to a bright future together.

We took a trip to Hawaii to see Bryan's grandparents for Thanksgiving. While we were there, we had a date night at Roy's Ko Olina. We ate some fancy fish and had a great time. During dinner, Kass had a small stomach ache and made a joke that Bryan can still propose tonight. Unbeknownst to Bryan, but knownst to her, she was just making a joke and not knowing what she was talking about. Bryan started to freak out, but tried to play it cool for the rest of the night. Dinner ended later than Bryan anticipated, and it was dark outside. Still determined to see his plan through, Kass and Bryan drove around until they found a public access to the beach. We went through a short and eerie pathway and walked out onto a lagoon. It was mostly cloudy, but there were a few stars poking through. On the other side of the beach, there was a luau going on. Bryan let Kass walk a little ahead of him, he stood behind her and distracted her with a star peeking through the clouds. Bryan got down on one knee and retrieved the ring from his pocket. He called out her name and watched her face light up with surprise (even though she was making jokes about him proposing all night, she was still surprised that it actually happened). "Will you marry me?"
