Tanner and Kassidee met for the first time at the Havre Fair. Tanner had just gotten off work and decided that it was a perfect time to meet up with Kassidee 112 miles away. Tanner texted Kassidee to make sure she was okay with this. Kassidee of course agreed. After several calls because Tanner needed directions or hit what he believed to either be a deer or coyote, which ended up being a bird, Tanner made it to Havre. From there, Tanner and Kassidee began their relationship.

Tanner and Kassidee took turns making the trip to see each other. Kassidee then willingly became the caretaker to Tanner's dog, Drako due to unforeseen circumstances and Tanner convinced Kassidee to get a cat named Gus. Soon, Tanner and Kassidee decided to move in together. Kassidee moved to Great Falls to be with Tanner.

After a while, Tanner decided to ask Kassidee to marry him. On a trip back to Havre in late February, Tanner took Kassidee to the restaurant they had their first date in. Then Tanner took Kassidee back to the place they met for the first time. This is where Tanner asked Kassidee to marry him. Kassidee of course said yes.

Tanner then got orders from the Air Force telling him to move to Oklahoma. Kassidee and Tanner decided to get married in April so that she could move with him. Kassidee and Tanner still want a more formal wedding so the planning for the August wedding began.

Now Kassidee and Tanner live in Oklahoma with their three dogs, Drako, Beau and Josie, and their cat, Gus. They are super excited to start this new chapter of their lives.
