Places to eat
Most restaurants have great food! Don't count out local mom and pop shops. Tabelog.com = Yelp. Anything above 3.5 stars is considered very good. Convenience stores "konbini" like 7/11 and Lawson also have very popular on the go options!
Are kids invited?
Yes! Eastan and River will both be at the wedding and reception. There will be a small kids play area in the reception room corner with a mat and a few toys.
Dress Code
Dress code is semi-formal. We do not have any wedding colors. Wear what you like, except white!
Need Help Booking?
If you need ANY assistance booking flights, hotels, restaurants, activites, etc. Call Kat!
Kat's mom lives in Japan and can help with any translating or booking hard to get tickets!
Do I need cash?
A lot of webites say cash is king in Japan, but this has changed in recent years. Most places take cards now. I would bring a little bit of cash, but ALL cash is not necessary. You can easily withdraw cash at ATM's in convenience stores.

What airport should I fly into?
Osaka has 2 major airports - KIX and ITM. ITM is MUCH closer to downtown Osaka than KIX.
Tokyo also has 2 major airports - HND and NRT. HND is closer to downtown Tokyo. I would reccomend (if you can) fly into HND and spend a few days exploring Tokyo, then take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Osaka. Make sure you sit on the RIGHT side of the train to try to catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji! If you would rather fly from Tokyo to Osaka, I reccomend taking ANA. Tickets are about $120 per person roundtrip.
