Both originally from the Carolina's, but living in FL and CA, we first met in Kat's hometown in southeastern North Carolina at the Surfers Healing Wrightsville Beach event. We hit it off immediately, and Kat did so well at the event she was invited to join the crew for the next stop in Folly Beach, SC, where Dylan learned to surf in his hometown. Kat said yes to joining the Surfers Healing tour for another stop, and Dylan made the ride from North to South Carolina with Kat in order to get to know her better.

As Dylan continued on with the Surfers Healing tour, Kat returned back to NC to spend time with family. The two did not want their time to end, and Dylan extended his trip on the east coast. As the Surfers Healing van headed north, Dylan hitched a ride and was dropped in NC to meet Kat. They went on to spend the week in the Outer Banks and Dylan met Kat's family.

After we parted ways back to FL and CA, we were invited to join the Surfer's Healing Northeast tour and we reunited in NJ.

After the Northeast Surfers Healing tour, we got the opportunity to drive one of the vans back from NY to CA together after knowing each other for less than a month. We had a great time and realized we could navigate through life's challenges together.

Celebrating the wedding of Dylan's brother, Billy and Colleen. We were fully committed to our relationship despite living on other sides of the country.

Dylan came to Florida to spend the last few weeks with Kat before the Kat's big move to California. This officially ended the long-distance.

The couple relocated to Oceanside, CA. We joined the Oceanside longboard club and did some tandem surf events together.

Day to day in Oceanside consisted of living beachfront, surfing, making good food, and spending time together.

Living our best lives as an engaged couple and continuing to travel and go on adventures together.

Half-way through our cross-country road trip together (our third), and on the way to our new home in Atlantic Beach, Florida!

Although two months out from the official wedding, we got to celebrate a special beach ceremony with our Surfer's Healing Family, which is where our story started.
