The year was 2020 and COVID was running amok. Kat’s roommate left her all alone to survive the lockdown by herself. Kat had no intentions of finding a partner at this time but thought about downloading Hinge to at least have some social interaction with people while being on lockdown. Jeremy on the other hand was trying to meet someone and his best friend suggested that Jeremy download Hinge. This was a huge surprise since Jeremy and his friend never actually speak about life events. Kat and Jeremy started talking and they went on their first date by walking on the waterfront in Burlington and drinking a beer while watching their favorite sunset. After that the rest was history, even though Jeremy told Kat on this first date that his favorite music was polka (come to find out this was a joke). Kat knew Jeremy was the one when her dog, Mya, met Jeremy on the second date and welcomed him into their lives with no hesitation. On August 11, 2023 Jeremy asked Kat to marry him at the same spot of their first date. Kat, Jeremy and Mya continue to enjoy the Burlington sunsets, good food and drinks, hiking, and all the outdoor adventures. They cannot wait to continue their future together!
