Early October on Gabriola Island is usually mild and beautiful, with fresh ocean air and soft fall light. We’re dreaming of saying our vows outside on the bluffs overlooking the sea (weather permitting, and please note it is accessible and close to the lodge/parking). We’d love for everyone to dress cozy formal — layers, textures, and pieces you can feel great in (maybe a jacket, shawl, or sweater for the ocean breeze). Good shoes will be helpful if you want to explore the property. The reception will be inside the lodge, warm and cozy. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, and honestly, we have everything we need! If you’d like to give, a contribution toward our wedding expenses/saving to buy a home would be greatly appreciated. The timeline you’ll see is more of a friendly guide than a rigid schedule...things may flow a little differently in real life.
