Our Story

How We Met

Kat and Peter first met online on Hinge, a dating app, in October of 2020 during a lull in COVID. Funny enough, although Kat and Peter met online, Kat's mother, Jenny and Peter's father, Eric went to high school together at Ingraham High in Seattle - small world!


Kat and Peter planned their first date at Discovery Park in Magnolia - where their engagement photos were later taken in 2025. Their first date ended up being 6 hours long, with Kat's roommate checking on her location many times - thank goodness for 'share your location'! They got carried away in conversation and walked much of the park and then ended the date at Hattie's Hat in Ballard for nachos and a beer.
