Fifty years ago as of this year, the Herceg family planted its roots in the United States. Steve and Jele, grandparents of the bride, immigrated to the United States from Croatia. They fell in love in California and the rest was history. With no family state side to celebrate the occasion they decided to tie the knot in the "wedding capitol of the world", beautiful Las Vegas Nevada. Sixty years ago as of 2024, the Herman's said "I do". Mike and Mary Herman, grandparents of the groom, share a rich and loving history as childhood sweethearts. One morning Mike picked Mary up to take her to class and instead of making it to campus they found themselves in Las Vegas walking down the aisle.
