Lake George is a great place if you're up for a bit of a drive. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains! We recommend many activities here including boat cruises, swimming and shopping.

The day of our wedding is also the day of a festival for Niskayuna, Katarina's hometown. There's a parade at 10am that goes down Grand Boulevard and by Van Antwerp Middle School. The fair is at Craig Elementary School from 12-9 and concludes with fireworks at 9:15pm. When you're not at the wedding festivities, this will be a fun way to get taste of life in Niskayuna!
