Katarina and Vivek met in July 2020 — thank you, global pandemic! Their first date? A picnic in Piedmont Park, where Vivek showed off by making banh mis, and a small army of dogs came along for emotional support (and snacks). Hinge was swiftly deleted… and that was pretty much that.&nbsp;

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Uber: The hotel and venue are around 1.5 hrs from the Atlanta airport. If you are only interested in traveling to the wedding venue/hotel, an Uber costs roughly $80 from the airport to Halcyon. As Halcyon is not a central location in Atlanta, there may be limited Ubers for transportation between Halcyon and the wedding venue. We strongly recommend reserving your Uber ahead of time.Rental: For those looking to explore more of the city, a rental car may be the cheaper option compared to multiple Ubers. You can rent a car at the airport and take the highway directly to Halcyon. We recommend always using a GPS in Atlanta - the traffic can be unpredictable!Public Transport: Atlanta's public transport is lacking, but does have some cost-effective options for those who prefer it. MARTA can take you from the airport to the Northpoint station north of the city, from which you could take a much less expensive Uber to Halcyon. Again, you will want to reserve an Uber for transport to and from the venue.

The recommended hotel is located at Halcyon, which is a 135-acre gathering place and mixed-use development. Paved pathways throughout the community connect people to places. Curated shops and chef-driven restaurants, all with a common green at the center.
