Our story
Anders & Kate met at Bethel School of Ministry Spring of 2017. Kate had met Anders brother, Gus & had been surfing with Anders mom, Kathy — but had never met him yet. Kate approached Anders in the hallway of the Civic Center and introduced herself. They continued to get to know each other at their mutual friend's birthday, Lydia Salameh. This led to them getting to know each other and go on adventures — to beauty & the beast, paddle boarding, and Vietnamese food.
Fast forward to 2018 — they both had moved to SoCal and reconnected as friends. They continued to get to know each other and go on adventures — to the beach, hiking, for Thai food, game nights, surfing, and church. During this time they developed feelings for each other and decided to go on some dates! Two dates in, Kate realized how much they had in common and playfully said, “I want to marry you”. Little did they know, one day this desire would come true!
In 2022 they are happy to take the next step and say “I do” as husband and wife. Kate and Anders are over the moon excited and can't wait to celebrate with you all, as they take the next steps in this chapter of their life!
