How should I get to the Cape?

We have listed some direct routes to the cape on our 'Travel' page. If you are driving, we recommend arriving no later than Friday afternoon as traffic over the bridge can get backed up. If you have to drive on Saturday, please give yourself plenty of time to get to the venue.

Can I bring my child to the wedding?

We love your little ones, but ask that you leave them at home for the evening of our wedding. You are more than welcome to bring them with you to the welcome party! Please RSVP accordingly.

Is everyone invited to the welcome party?

Yes! It is a casual party with a food truck, music, and yard games. Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the wedding?

Shuttles for the wedding will depart from the Double Tree in Hyannis at 3:00 and from the welcome party location at 3:30pm on Saturday. Please see our Travel page for more information. Parking is available at the venue if you prefer to drive yourself. We do want to stress that Cape traffic on Saturdays can double your travel time. Please plan accordingly.

Where are the bride and groom staying?

We have rented a house in East Dennis and plan to be there the week before and after the wedding. This is also where the welcome party will take place. Feel free to enjoy the cape with us before or after the wedding!

Where should I stay?

We recommend getting a rental or staying at one of the inns/hotels listed on our Travel page. Our families will be in East Dennis near Corporation Beach for the week before and after, and that is where we will run transportation to and from the wedding. There are lots of wonderful places on the Cape to stay, so take your pick!

What's up with the Farewell Brunch?

Nope! If you plan to leave the Cape on Sunday, we strongly encourage you to leave before 8am or after 8pm. If you do not, you will sit in traffic to get off of the Cape for hours. We mean...hours. Guaranteed. If you plan to stay, we'd love to see you for a very casual farewell brunch at our rental home. Stop by for a bagel, a cup of coffee (or bloody mary), and a hug on your way to the beach or next Cape destination.

Flying into Logan?

Unfortunately, Boston’s Sumner Tunnel has just announced closure for repair through August 31st--as if getting to the Cape wasn’t complicated enough. This will make travel to and from Logan Airport quite difficult. The Highway Authority estimates an added 2 hours of travel time if commuting by car. We have some suggestions for re-routing below and are happy to help in any way we can: -If you can reroute your trip to the Providence, RI airport, that is our best suggestion. The travel time is equivalent and traffic is much kinder. -The Peter Pan Bus also departs from multiple terminals and drives directly to Hyannis. It costs $25 -The Plymouth & Brockton Line is affordable, picks up right at Logan Airport and takes you directly to Hyannis where we can pick you up and/or rent a car if you had planned. They run all day every day of the week and take about 2 hours. MTA is providing alternate routes for buses that are not available to cars. -The Provincetown Fast Ferry is my favorite option, although it is admittedly the least convenience and the most expensive ($65-$80). You will need to get yourself from Logan to the Seaport (directions below). Only 3 Ferry’s run per day. If you choose this option, Douglas and I are glad to come get you in P’town if you let us know your plans ahead of time. Getting to the Ferry from Logan Airport Taxi – The quickest way to get to us. Simply ask the taxi driver who picks you up at your terminal to take you to World Trade Center, lower level, on Seaport Blvd. You will be taken on a quick five to ten-minute ride (when traffic is good), or, a significantly slower 45 minute ride (if traffic is just terrible) through Boston’s new Ted Williams tunnel directly to our pier at World Trade Center. Our ships depart from the EAST side (the right side as you face the harbor) of the pier. The cab fare is approximately $22 without gratuity. Silver Line – An MBTA articulated bus makes the rounds of all airport terminals every 15 minutes for an eight-minute trip through a dedicated tunnel to the World Trade Center stop, one block inland from our dock. Fares are approximately $2.50 per passenger. Total time from your airport terminal curb to our dock, once aboard the bus, is approximately 14 minutes. Water Taxi/BUS – An airport water transportation bus, clearly marked “Water Transportation”, circles all of the airport’s terminals. The water taxi service has changed for 2023. City Experiences Water Taxi is now calling themselves a “water bus” and does not operate on demand, but, instead only on a fixed schedule. Their departures from the airport are now limited and depart Logan, to our dock, only at 8:30am, 10:40am, 12:40pm, 2:40pm, and 4:40pm. Trip times across the harbor to our Seaport dock are roughly 10 minutes. Prior to boarding the water taxi/bus, it will be important for you to tell the Water Taxi operator that you’ve purchased tickets from us, at THE WORLD TRADE CENTER. That will ensure that you end up at the right place as there is more than one ferry company in Boston. Rates for the Water Bus are $15 per person.
