Trenton and Kate met in Target while she was waiting in the longest line ever and he was trying to get some cold medicine. Kate felt bad for him (he was cute) and let him hop in line with her and the rest is history … or that’s the story Trenton prefers. While they did see each other for the first time in Target, the couple met on the dating app Bumble and connected over their love of Star Wars and Jesus. 

Seven months after they met, Trenton popped the question and successfully surprised Kate, which is all the proof necessary that he was the one.
