Black Tie Optional. A fusion between black-tie and formal fashion. You can wear a tuxedo or a floor-length evening gown if you want, but a dark suit with dress pants and nice loafers would be acceptable too. Similarly, a midi or knee-length cocktail dress would also be appropriate instead of a floor-length gown.

September is very pleasant in Chicago, with less rainy days than in August. Temperatures range from a high of 75 °F and low of 54 °F.

The ceremony and reception will take place at the same location. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.

A shuttle bus will be available starting at 4:45 p.m. to take guests from Midtown Hotel to the venue. Uber is also available throughout the city.

There is free parking and city street parking. There will also be complimentary valet parking available at the venue.

Room check-in is 4:00 pm, however, early check-in can be requested but cannot be guaranteed as it is subject to availability and most importantly occupancy of the hotel the night before. Guests are welcome to utilize the property while they wait for their room. Midtown's locker rooms are fully equipped with hair dryers, towels, showers, and toiletries for guests waiting for their rooms and can be used in order to get ready if need be.
