Right as Covid struck, Kate and I began seeing each other. Our first date was a ride through a Dunkin' Donuts drive thru because nothing else was open. Thankfully a $3 latte was enough to win her over as we decided to go on another date. I was able to win Kate over fairly easy, my next task however, was to win over the prettiest 1 year old girl I had ever laid eyes on. I was worried about this task but, this was the easiest of them all. My favorite part about marrying Kate is that there is another beautiful girl there to tell me she loves me. Aurora and Kate make my feel happier than i have ever been. Loving them is so easy.

My first memory of James was at a wedding that we both attended. He was the best man standing at the beginning of the aisle helping show guests to their seats. As I was walking towards a seat, he told me that I needed to wait to be seated by the usher. He laughed and I was sure that he was being facetious, but he still swears that he was flirting.

Fast forward a few years and we were all locked inside of our homes due to the pandemic. James and I were both big on sharing memes to our Instagram stories at this time. We would respond to each other and would chat frequently. I waited for weeks, hoping that he would ask to hangout and eventually took it upon myself to get the ball rolling.

On Easter, I sent James $5 on Venmo to buy a coffee on me since he had to work. I think he got the hint because a few days later he finally asked if I wanted to go get coffee together. The first date came and went, I was nervous, but everything with him felt so easy. That is something about our relationship that I cherish. As time passed, we found more ways to see each other. Between the hours riding around in the car, stopping by to bring me a coffee to work, or taking Aurora out for ice cream we both quickly fell in love with James.

He has spent every single moment of our relationship being kind, caring, and respectful of both Aurora and myself. Without hesitation he will come to our rescue and always puts our needs above his own. I have never felt safer, more supported, or more loved by anyone else in my entire life. He is an amazing partner and an even more amazing father. The love that we share is unlike anything I have ever experienced and we are really lucky to have him in our corner.

I am over the moon to know that this is our happily ever after.
