Our Wedding

One good thing that came out of the pandemic - our relationship. We have been together for 4 years, but it all began when Ryan added me on Facebook. We had over 80 mutual friends because we both attended Missouri State University at the same time. We don't remember meeting, but knew close friends of each other. I added him back assuming we had met before. Neither one of us took it upon ourselves to message each other on Facebook, so it was a dating app that ultimately brought us together. Things were easy from the get-go since we had so many mutual friends. The trust was easy. We had our first date on December 5, 2020 and it lasted over 6 hours. We didn't want it end, but everywhere was closing early still at that time. Things were just starting to open up again, so we had masks on for a lot of our date. We were basically inseparable ever since. I remember being shocked that he got Christmas gifts for my entire family later that month. We went on our first trip together in January to Big Cedar Lodge. It's where he first told me that he loved me. We still love to go back whenever we can. It became an even bigger part of our story when Ryan decided to propose there in the exact spot where he first said I love you. Once we were engaged, we decided to take some more big leaps. We bought a house, Ryan became a dog dad to Evie, we added a new puppy (Vera) to our family, we became God Parents to Ryan's brothers children, and so much more.
